Lilu Light Festival Lucerne

From 15 to 25 January 2026, Lucerne will once again become a luminous meeting place. At the 7th Lilu Light Festival Lucerne, artists from all over the world will present the diverse and fascinating facets of light art. Discover creative light installations on an illuminated winter walk and experience an attractive supporting programme with a light show for all the senses. The alleys, sights and squares of the city of Lucerne will be creatively illuminated by us.

Where are the toilets?

There are plenty of public toilets in the city. In addition, selected restaurants make their ‘nice toilets’ available. There are also two wheelchair-accessible toilets (TOI® Cap Cerebral), which can be used with the Eurokey. (Europaplatz and near the Jesuit Church)

What music is played during the normal light show?

The music that enchants you in the world of colour and light is different every year. Let us surprise you.

What is the best place in the church?

Our light shows offer an all-round enchanting experience in the church. The show is projected onto the walls in such a way that a unique experience can be guaranteed from any seat in the church.
