Under Pressure

Under Pressure

The light installation Under Pressure consists of eight different figures.

Under Pressure is a light and sound installation, consisting of 8 exercising figures with their heads trapped in straps. The artwork reflects on the issue of stress and work pressure, which society tries to fix with exercising – in this example with yoga exercises – for but ignores the systematic solutions to prevent burn-out. The series points out the contrast between a society that has embraced the healthy lifestyle trend and one that struggles with mental health issues.
