In an era where technology and technique seem to be taking control, we wonder what the role and value of creativity created by artists who do not give up on creating with originality and uniqueness is. Digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence are transforming the way art and culture is created, but if technologies take over, will human creation still be necessary?

FARNESINA DIGITAL ART EXPERIENCE enhances and promotes the Italian excellence operating in the digital art sector through the organisation of shows, exhibitions and performances or participation in international events. The project is promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the embassies, the Italian cultural institutes and ICE, the Agency for Promotion Abroad. Design and art direction by Stefano Fake. The organization and promotion are handled by Bright Festival.

FARNESINA DIGITAL ART EXPERIENCE

Italy has been the cradle of creativity, innovation and research in the artistic and cultural field. Many Italian artists who work with digital technologies have become a point of reference in the experimentation with new languages such as video mapping, immersive art experiences, light art, audio-visual performances.

For the first time, The FARNESINA DIGITAL ART EXPERIENCE project collects the peaks of excellence at an Italian of these new digital art forms at global level.
