Once again, the well-known Lilu letters stand as a small work of light art on the Kurplatz and wrap the surroundings in warm light.

Since 2023, they have been surrounded by three banks of light that invite you to take a break. Enjoy the unique view over Lake Lucerne and let yourself be enchanted by the play of colors.

Lucerne Light Festival Association

The Lucerne Light Festival Association is responsible for organising the Lilu Light Festival Lucerne. The large Lilu letters have been part of the program since the first festival.

On the Lilu guided tours, you can take a look behind the scenes of the popular light festival and learn more about the light art and light installations. With our experienced Lilu guides, you can take home some exciting and interesting knowledge.

Come with us on a guided tour of the versatile light installations of the Lilu Light Festival Lucerne 2025.

Learn interesting background information about some of the installations and their artists. The guided Lilu tour starts daily from January 9 to 19, 2025 at 6:15 pm and partly additional at 7:15 pm and is in German Language. The tour lasts 75 minutes and does not include all installations. It is barrier-free – wheelchair users are requested to inform us in advance.
